access on any computer in your network easily.
An easy to use GUI
allows you to add, remove or verify local administrators group
membership remotely for both workstations or servers. Perform
virtually any administrative need from a central interface.
What is AdminAccess and why do I need it?
Windows based computers, rely on local administrative group
membership to perform various administrative functions. Everyone knows
that Windows computers use the membership of local computers
administrative accounts to perform tasks.
The problem is that accounts for each
member of the Administrators group is stored locally on each system.
This poses a problem when you are required to change those accounts - you
may have many systems on your network that use different configurations.
You would manually have to go into the user and group management console
on each system and reset the administrators group membership.
This is one
reason why the local administrative access rarely get changed, thus posing
a security threat. AdminAccess allows you to select multiple systems and
change administrative group membership with ONE operation.
Can I add members
from different domains with AdminAccess?
Yes,
AdminAccess can add members from different domains and more. You can add
or revoke any domain user or global group member to several systems with
one operation. You can easily connect to any system and remotely manage
the administrators group with ease.
Does this mean anyone
can mange administrators group membership?
No.
AdminAccess allows only an operator that is already an administrator of
the remote computer to add or remove members from the Administrators
group.
Essentially, we've centralized the management of the local
computer administrative group without compromising Windows inherent
security features!
Does AdminAccess
require client software or agents to be installed?
No.
AdminAccess accomplishes all of its functions without the need for an
additional agent or client software to be installed on computers to be
managed. All remote computers can be handled by a single workstation.
