Reboot, Shutdown, logoff or Power Off Servers
Winzero ServerReboot reduces the repetitive task of rebooting,
shutting down, logging off users or powering off multiple remote servers
and tracks server reboot history.

Winzero ServerReboot
Winzero ServerReboot allows administrators to reboot,
shutdown, logoff or power off remote servers by name or
server groups.
ServerReboot
allows you to perform, monitor and audit remote Windows server reboot,
shutdown or power off activities. Winzero ServerReboot allows
administrators responsible to remotely power manage Windows 2000,
Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 servers.
What is ServerReboot and why do I need it?
Windows based computers, rely on local logon to perform various
power management functions tasks.
This poses a problem when you are required to reboot
shutdown or power off multiple servers - you
may have many systems on your network that use different configurations.
You would manually have to go each console
to power manage each system. Winzero ServerReboot allows you to reboot/shutdown multiple servers with ONE operation.
Can
I verify results using ServerReboot?
Yes. You can verify immediate results
in the main console by watching the select servers ping results. When a
server shuts down or reboots the ping will result in an unreachable state.
If you rebooted then the ping results will return to their normal state when
the server comes back on line.
You can also track and save ServerReboot activity by servers
and report: time, account and ServerReboot activity performed.
Does ServerReboot
require client software or agents to be installed?
Yes.
ServerReboot automatically configures a remote scheduling service to
accomplish all of its functions. The Scheduling Service allows for
immediate execution of the reboot process without relying on local time or
time zones. All operations can be performed from one workstation or
server.
What operating
systems does ServerReboot run on?

ServerReboot runs on either servers or workstations and on all versions Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, 2003, 2008, Windows XP,
Windows Vista
as well as Windows 7
What about
Workstations? Can ServerReboot manage those too?
Absolutely. By adding Hidden Computers, you can add Windows XP,
Windows Vista and Windows 7 workstations.
Once the computer name is in the ServerReboot list, you can reboot or
shutdown those workstations.
"To me the best thing
about Winzero ServerReboot, is that I can reboot multiple servers from a
central location and watch them come on line without leaving my desk."
